A big shout out this morning to a few of the organisations who have been assisting our amazing staff to get everything back in tip-top shape after recent events...

The wonderful team from Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia who are out doing a special clinic kindly brought along a new comprehensive medical chest, medical supplies and a defibrillator to replace those that were lost in the fire.

BCF Mount Isa who donated a fantastic esky to help keep supplies nicely chilled.

And the caring ladies from the Gregory CWA who brought our staff some delicious home-made smoko and magazines.

While we work on new plans for our reception and restaurant space we remind everyone that provided you are self-sufficient with food and drink supplies we are business as usual (Note- washing machines currently not available)

For bookings PLEASE CALL on 0747485502

A BIG THANK YOU goes out to everyone who has reached out to us on social media, in messages, phone calls, voice messages, emails and alike since the loss of our main building to fire early yesterday.

In true Outback spirit we are making best of what could have been a worse situation and our wonderful staff are working extra hard to ensure our current and future guests are well accommodated!

It's great to see so many happy smiling faces in and around the camp sites still and all the messages of stays to come... we really appreciate your support and help to spread the word that we are OPEN (even if reception is currently some camp chairs and fold out tables 😁)

Please ensure if visiting you are as self sufficient as possible until otherwise advised with guest inquiries to 0474522146 until phone lines are re-established

A special thank you to New Century emergency team, Queensland Parks and Burketown ambulance who all came to back up the Doomadgee rural fire and Cloncurry fire units that arrived quickly. Also thank you to the trained fire couple staying at the camp.
