A ‘hidden treasure’ nestled into vast sprawling plains, the idyllic tourism hotspot Adels Grove is inviting visitors to share the secrets that make them one of Outback Queensland’s most picturesque and popular locations via a social media photo competition. Situated just 10 kilometres away from the stunning natural beauty of Boodjamulla (Lawn Hill) National Park, 50 kilometres from the incredible archaeology of the World Heritage-listed Miyumba (Riversleigh) Fossil Fields, and a favourite of locals, interstate and overseas visitors alike; the Adels Grove camping park sits alongside the emerald green waters of Lawn Hill Creek, surrounded by lush tropical and native plant life, sprawling ranges and an abundance of wildlife. Aimed at sharing people’s personal experiences and the highlights of the almost secret like location that is Adels Grove, the competition will entail entrants sharing their favourite images on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram along with a caption and thehashtag #HiddenTreasures. Entries will be shared on the Adels Grove pages throughout the competition with the most ‘liked’ entry winning a 3 day Discover Lawn Hill Tour for 2 adults. “Although the entrants will of course have already experienced the hidden treasures Adels Grove has to offer who wouldn’t want to win a return visit?” said Michelle. “Valued at $2,200 the 3 day guided tour of Adels Grove includes travel to and from Adels Grove ex Mount Isa, breakfast, dinner and lunch daily, accommodation and guided tours of the Riversleigh (Miyumba) Fossil Fields and Lawn Hill (Boodjamulla) National Park… it’s the perfect prize to start a family vacation, a romantic getaway or even an amazing gift for someone special” she added.
